Michael had a heart attack in 2024 and was given two weeks to live without emergency quadruple heart bypass surgery. Instead of simply being grateful to be alive, he's turned that experience into doing something remarkable.

It was a real honour to inspect the Duke of Lancaster’s Regiment this morning at the ceremony to grant them the Freedom of the Borough of South Ribble.

Thank you to the students at Runshaw College for the invitation to take part in their college Question Time panel last week. There was plenty of thoughtful discussion and lively debate. It’s genuinely refreshing to see so many politically engaged young people, and it’s fantastic that they’re given a platform to have their voices heard.

I was shocked find out that yet another high street bank is planning to pull out of Leyland town centre. Santander has confirmed the Leyland branch in Hough Lane will shut during May.
