Bringing Jobs and Opportunities to South Ribble

Having a good job is about so much more than earning a wage. It provides independence, confidence, purpose and the opportunity to build a better future.

That's why I was delighted to help organise a Jobs Fair in South Ribble, working alongside the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) and South Ribble Borough Council.

The event brought together local employers and organisations offering employment opportunities, careers advice, skills development and training, helping people take their next steps into work.

Whether looking for a first job, returning to employment or considering a change of career, the fair was an opportunity for local people to explore what's available and make valuable connections.

A huge thank you to all the employers and organisations who took part, including the NHS, Lancashire Ambulance Service and Lancashire Police, and to everyone who came along.

I'm passionate about ensuring people in South Ribble have access to good jobs and the opportunities they need to succeed.
