Meeting with Lord Timpson

It was good to meet Lord Timpson, Minister of State for Prisons, today to speak on behalf of residents in Ulnes Walton and the Ulnes Walton Action Group. We’re all still coming to terms with the news that a new prison will be built alongside Garth and Wymott, but it matters to me that we push for the right infrastructure to support local people.

I’ll keep making sure our community’s voice is heard throughout the construction and development of the area. I’ll provide some further updates in the new year.
