I had the pleasure of visiting the Jubilee Gardens extra care development alongside Leader, Councillor Jacky Alty, and Deputy Leader, Aniela Bylinski Gelder. It was fantastic to see the progress being made on this important project, which is set to open later this year.
Jubilee Gardens will provide much-needed accommodation for over 55s, enabling residents to live longer, independently, in their own homes. The development will also feature a community café and a hair salon, creating a vibrant and inclusive space for residents and the wider community.
A brand-new website with information on how to apply for the apartments will be launched soon, so keep an eye out for updates. This is an exciting step forward for South Ribble, and I look forward to seeing the positive impact Jubilee Gardens will have on our community.
