I am incredibly grateful and honored to have been elected as the Member of Parliament for South Ribble. The trust and support that the community has shown me is truly humbling, and I am eager to begin serving the people of South Ribble and addressing the various challenges that we face together as we navigate the path forward in Westminster. As I step into this new role, my primary focus will be on being a dedicated and constituency-focused MP, ensuring that the voices and concerns of the South Ribble community are heard and represented at the highest level.

My journey in politics has been a journey of growth and learning, particularly during my time as the Leader of South Ribble Council, where I had the opportunity to refine my skills and leadership capabilities, especially during the unprecedented COVID-19 crisis. The transition from local governance to national politics is a significant one, but I am fully prepared for the challenges that lie ahead. I firmly believe that my success is a testament to the power of grassroots connections and effective communication within our community.

My vision for South Ribble is one of progress and inclusivity, aiming to create a better future for all residents that aligns with the overarching goals of the new Government. I am committed to working tirelessly to address the issues that matter most to our constituency and to champion the interests of the people I represent in every decision I make.
