Advocating for Fairer Hospice Funding
Today, I visited St Catherine's Hospice, Lancashire to meet with Chief Executive, Lynn Kelly and discuss the impact of funding disparities on the vital care they provide. Hospices should not have to rely overwhelmingly on public generosity. Donations should supplement funding, not be the backbone of it.

Fighting for Fairness for Our Hospices
During a Prime Minister’s Questions, I raised this issue and urged the Prime Minister to ensure that all hospices receive free medication, regardless of their postcode. some areas fully fund hospice medication, others don’t fund it at all. Even worse, hospices in deprived areas often receive less support than those in more affluent ones. This surely cannot be right.
