Runshaw Colleges' Question Time

Thank you to the students at Runshaw College for the invitation to take part in their college Question Time panel last week.

There was plenty of thoughtful discussion and lively debate. It’s genuinely refreshing to see so many politically engaged young people, and it’s fantastic that they’re given a platform to have their voices heard.

A special shout-out to Elias for chairing the debate, and to Theo and Charlie for taking part — all in front of an audience of more than 100 people. I was also joined by local politicians Councillor Matthew Tomlinson, Alister Bradley and Craige Southern.

It’s great to see local politics thriving, and I’m really looking forward to more events like this in the future.
