Runshaw College Materplan

Runshaw does a fantastic job supporting students from across Leyland, South Ribble and beyond, helping them take their next step into university, apprenticeships or work. So it’s great to see that recognised, with nearly £2 million of new Government funding being invested.

It was really good to meet Principal Clare Russell and talk through plans to invest this funding into an ambitious, ongoing campus masterplan. This includes the new “Windermere” science building and wider improvements across the site. This additional funding will help accelerate those plans, ensuring facilities are modern, sustainable and fit for the future and that our local young people have the high-quality learning environment they deserve.

Backing our young people is one of the best investments we can make, so I’ll always welcome funding like this into our area.
