If you’re a UK veteran living in South Ribble (well anywhere actually) at pension age, then please don’t scroll past this post.

We’re incredibly proud of our Armed Forces community here in South Ribble, and I want to make sure that veterans locally aren’t missing out on money they’re entitled to.

I was really pleased to co-sponsor and speak at a Forces Pension Society event, alongside Veterans Minister Calvin Bailey MP.

You don’t necessarily need to have spent your whole career in the Armed Forces to have a pension entitlement. If you served for a period of time, even many years ago, it’s worth checking what you might be owed.

I’d really encourage veterans across South Ribble to visit the Armed Forces Pension Society website and have a look - www.forcespensionsociety.org. And if you have a friend, neighbour or family member who served, please pass this on to them too.

You served our country. Make sure you’re getting what you’re entitled to.
