Police and Crime Commissioner Visit to South Ribble

Updated: Mar 13

In light of the recent increase in petty crime, anti-social behaviour, and shoplifting, I was glad to meet with Lancashire Police and Crime Commissioner in South Ribble last week. Our meeting in Penwortham, alongside local officers, allowed us to walk through the community and discuss these pressing issues, as well as other challenges our residents are facing.

I want to assure you all that I am deeply committed to advocating for a more visible police presence on the streets of South Ribble and Chorley Rural West. Commissioner Clive Grunshaw has reaffirmed his dedication to enhancing neighbourhood policing by increasing the visibility of officers within our communities.

Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to share their concerns with me. Your voices are crucial in shaping our approach to making our constituency a safer place for all. I look forward to continuing my work with Clive and our local officers to ensure we achieve this goal together.
