Meeting Johnson Beharry VC

I had the privilege of meeting Warrant Officer Class 2, Johnson Beharry VC, alongside the Speaker and our neighbouring Chorley MP, Sir Lindsay Hoyle.

Johnson Beharry VC is an extraordinary individual who was awarded the Victoria Cross, the British Army’s highest military honour for gallantry, in recognition of his remarkable bravery and selflessness during active service in Iraq. His heroic actions embody the very best of our Armed Forces and serve as an inspiration to all.

It was an honour to meet such a distinguished and courageous figure, whose service and sacrifice continue to be held in the highest regard.
