Help Shape a Safer Lancashire for Women and Girls

Updated: Aug 1

Every single day, around 3,000 crimes related to Violence Against Women and Girls are recorded across the UK. It’s a shocking statistic and one we must not accept as normal.

To tackle this issue head-on, the Lancashire Police and Crime Commissioner has launched a county-wide survey to hear directly from women and girls about their experiences, concerns, and ideas for change. Your voice matters, and your insights will help shape future safety strategies across Lancashire.

Today, I was proud to stand alongside the Commissioner and Jess Phillips MP, a tireless advocate for women’s safety, as we continue working together to make our communities safer.

Whether you live, work, socialise, or travel through Lancashire, this survey is open to you. We want to hear from as many people as possible—but only if you feel comfortable taking part. Some questions may be sensitive or triggering, and your wellbeing is always the top priority.

Together, we can help make Lancashire a safer place for everyone.
