The situation in Gaza and the West Bank

The ongoing situation in Gaza and the West Bank is illegal under international law and, quite frankly, I find it deeply concerning.
Not to mention that the continued expansion of Israeli settlements and the rise in violence against Palestinians are worrying.
Yesterday, I raised this directly with the the Foreign Secretary during the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office questions in the House of Commons.
I also made the point that, even with so many other crises around the world, the situation in Gaza and the West Bank must not be allowed to slip down the list of priorities.
Please be assured that I will continue to raise this issue with the Government and do everything I can to make sure it is not forgotten.
